RULES FOR THE BRUMLEY MUSICFEST TICKET GIVEAWAY
1. Qualifiers must be 18 years of age or older to win. Prizes will not be awarded until winner has been verified for eligibility through the Brumley MuiscFest Business office. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only, based on eligibility.
2. There are two ways to enter for the ticket giveaway. Entries may be submitted to Brumley MusicFest at PO Box 613 Bentonville, AR 72712, and entries will be taken on the web sites: www.brumeymusicfest.com or www.sgnscoops.com. The winner’s name will be announced on both websites from the entries.
3. The contest will run from Feb. 1, 2010 to March 31, 2010 and winners will be announced on April 15, 2010. Winners will be contacted directly via phone or email and contest sponsors will distribute prize and it is non-transferable.
4.Fans can enter once per day online or via US Mail, but each entry must contain a different story. If it is determined by SGN Scoops or Brumley MusicFest that winner is difficult to work with, the winner will be disqualified. All decisions are final.
5. Rules for entry: participant must provide a short story (500 characters or less) about how any of the 800 Albert E. Brumley Songs have touched their lives or how a story of your face-to-face meeting with Albert E. Brumley or Bob Brumley. Participants must provide a valid full address, email and phone number to be contacted on April 15, 2010. Upon entering the contest the participant agrees to automatically be added to the email list, and mailing lists of both Brumley MusicFest and SGN Scoops. No purchase is necessary.
6. Winners will be responsible for all tax liability and licensing associated with winning this contest. By accepting prize, winner releases Brumley MusicFest, SGN Scoops and SGM Radio and all stations and all participating sponsors from any liability as a result of this prize. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of BMF, which shall be final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Sponsor may rescind the Contest, without liability, in the event of printing or production errors, or electronic failures of any kind. Sponsor reserves the right to modify these Official Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest. By accepting a Prize, where permitted by law, Winner grants to Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, discovered or devised, including but not limited to the Internet, at any time or times, the winner’s full name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes without additional consideration, and without review, approval, notification or further compensation. By entering this contest each participant guarantees that the story they submit is their original story and is not subject to copyright. All stories submitted become the property of Brumley MusicFest and may be used in anyway seen fit by Brumley MusicFest including reprint, advertising or broadcast. Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
7. All Winners may be required to complete, execute, and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of notification. If documents are not returned timely, or if Winner is found ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, disqualification will result, and, if time permits, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
8. Brumley MusicFest, SGN Scoops and SGM Radio will not be responsible for mis-directed entries, US Mail entries or technical problems associated with entering the contest. Members of the Brumley family, Brumley MusicFest, SGN Scoops and SGM Radio to ensure validity, will read all entries and choose a winner. All decisions are final.
9. Employees and family of Brumley Music, Brumley MusicFest, SGN Scoops, SGM Radio and any of its subsidiaries are ineligible. Employees of competing Broadcasting Companies are also ineligible. Brumley MusicFest may modify contest rules at any time. Copies of these rules are available at Brumley MusicFest during regular business hours; or by mailing a self-stamped envelope to PO Box 613, Bentonville AR 72712. Contest rules are also available at Bentonville Convention and Visitors Bureau and posted on all participating websites where available.
